Middle-term of SIC project

Our hosted Italian youth worker, Bruno has been working on his project for 3 months what means we are in the half time of SIC project. We try to show some of his activities and experiences during this time by some pictures and short descriptions. Enjoy them!

In INFORMATOR part of the project he meets students and young people to share information about European citizenship and active participation.

In SPY part of the project Bruno studies everything about how to send and support EVS volunteers by TE IS Foundation. He also helps us to promote EVS and recruits young people who want to make European Voluntar Service.

In the project he cooperates with RADAR Youth Information and Consulting Office and Pillar Foundation to meet more young people. Thanks a lot for them!

In May Hungary celebrates to be a member of European Union for 10 years in this way they organize events connected to this. Dunai Regatta (May 1) and European Day (May 11) were two of them where Bruno participated cooperating with Pillar Foundation.

He got in touch and got to know Hungarian youth organizations, e.g. Regional Network of EURODESK, Erasmus Office of BME, National Youth Council.

You too can be Entrepreneur! - Youth Exchange in Romania

"You too can be an entrepreneur" is a project that promotes the entrepreneurial culture among youth from rural areas. This project is teaching young people details about the entrepreneurial culture: what is its palce in the current capitalist society, how can one become an entrepreneur, how can the EU help someone to become an entrepreneur and what skills does an entrepreneur have. The project tries to combat the following issue: the lack of an entrepreneurial culture among disadvantaged youth in rural areas. This issue leads to economic underdevelopment of the comunity, youth migration to other urban areas and to the dissapearance of a number of services from the community. We will combat this issue by organizing this youth exchange which has as main activities one short course, two workshops and a one day visit to a local business. Our purpose is to spread the entrepreneurial culture among disadvantaged youth from rural areas.
